Brave Saint Saturn

Biography

It’s difficult to birth a new genre of music and still have it be catchy and accessible, but this is just what Brave Saint Saturn have done with their debut release, "The Light Of Things Hoped For." Recorded in January of 2003 at One Way Studios in Concord, CA with Saki (The W’s, Five Iron Frenzy, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), this Five Iron Frenzy brainchild-turned-side project is brimming with instrumental eccentricity, spacey pop hooks, and atmospheric vocal harmonies. During the recording process, front man Reese Roper on a dare lived off of hot sauce and pickled eggs —apparently a diet for astro-rock success. "The Light Of Things Hoped For" will make you wonder if there really is life on other planets!
